Click on the Gift Certificate button and choose the certificate amount you wish to buy. Quantity default is 1, but you can buy multiple certificates at once, if the amount you want to buy isn’t an option. Add it to your cart and check out as normal.

How to Send a Gift Certificate:

1. After you’ve completed checking out, you can either go to "View my Gift Certificates in “My Account” to begin sending your gift certificates to the recipients or click the “Send to a Friend” link in the right menu, below your gift certificate balance.

2. The recipients do not need to have a Samhain account at the time your gift is sent, but they will need to set up an account to redeem the certificate if they don’t have one yet.

3. Click on My Account.

4. Click “View my gift certificates”.

5. Click “Send to a Friend”.

6. Complete the form entering the name, email address and amount you are sending.

   • You do not have to send the exact amount of the gift certificate you purchased. You can buy a $5.00 certificate and send $1.00 to five friends, or any combination there of.

   • Also, if you want to send an odd amount like $15, just buy three $5’s or a $5 and a $10 and enter $15 when you fill out the form to send to the recipient.

7. Type in the message you want to send with the certificate and then click Send.

The amount will be deducted from your GC total and will be available to the recipient.

How to Redeem Your Certificate:

1. Fill your cart and when you’re ready, click Checkout in the upper right corner of the page, make sure you’re logged in.

2. Verify your information is still accurate. Please update your account if it is not.

3. If your cart total is more than the amount of your gift certificate, please choose the payment option of your choice. Please note that if you chose to pay by check, your selections won’t be shipped or available for download until payment is received.

4. If your cart is equal to or less than your gift certificate, just choose Credit Card to go to the next step.

5. Click continue.

6. Verify your cart has all the titles you planned to purchase.

7. Scroll down to the drop-down menu for Gift Certificate Code and select the certificate you are using. Click Update Price. The amount will be deducted from the total above.

8. If you are using more than one certificate to complete your purchase, select another certificate code and Update Price.

9. Confirm your order.

10. Place a check in the box for each title if you would like to be notified of any updates, such as a new file available due to corrections.

11. If your purchase was less than the amount of your gift certificate, your gift certificate balance will now reflect the new balance.

12. Your ebooks are now on your bookshelf and ready for download.

Importing Certificates into Your Samhain Account:

If the gift certificate was sent to the email you use for your existing Samhain account, the certificate will already be in your account. The following instructions are for gift certificates that are received at an email that isn't associated with your Samhain account, or you are new and don't have an account yet.

1. If you are new to Samhain you will need to set up your account first, then import the Gift Certificate into your account so you can apply it to your purchases.

2. Go to store.samhainpublishing.com. Then click on the “New User? Register here” link on the lower right menu. Follow the instructions.

3. Once you have established your account, login and go to “My Account”, the link is also on the lower right menu.

4. Click the “Import my Gift Certificate balance” link under My Account, it’s toward the bottom of the center screen.

5. Enter the email address to where the Gift Certificate was sent and enter the Gift Certificate code and continue.

6. Your certificate has been transferred! You will now see on the right menu you have a balance available for use.
